Experienced Dual Diagnosis clinician ready for a highly specialised remote NT contract?

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (N4) with strong Dual Diagnosis clinical capability to support individuals with concurrent Mental Health and complex Substance Use concerns across remote communities in East Arnhem.

This is a senior-level role requiring confidence in assessment, care coordination and integrated treatment planning within remote settings.




Key Responsibilities

• Dual Diagnosis clinical assessment and intervention
• Alcohol and Other Drug integrated treatment planning
• Care coordination and case management
• Advanced mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
• Delivery of services within a multidisciplinary framework
• Collaboration with NGOs and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations
• Engagement aligned with Social and Emotional Wellbeing principles
• Legislative & Compliance Requirements
• Eligible to be appointed as a Designated Mental Health Practitioner (DMHP) under the MHRSA
• Eligible to be a Volatile Substance Abuse Assessor (VSAPA)
• Ability to work within NT Mental Health legislation frameworks

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated Dual Diagnosis experience
• Experience delivering mental health services in remote settings
• N4 classification only
• Manual driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel via 4WD and light aircraft
• Current AHPRA registration
• Must be currently on-shore in Australia or New Zealand
• Full Australian working rights required

• 8–12 weeks
